HAPPY SOLSTICE !
One of my favorite Holy Days, has been celebrated from the dawn of stone age man (and woman). From Stonehenge to Chaco Canyon, and I'm certain the
ancestral Cochimi chimed in, Hurrah, the days will now get longer! So to all hedonists and sun-worshipers out there, even though today is the first
day of Winter, to some it is the first day of The Longer Days, and to some it's the true New Year's Day (the current one was made up fairly recently).
So to all Wiccans, Druids, and hedonists in general, Happy Holy Days!

Thank God..............
That those Druids and other Dead-Enders lost out to a GREATER Faith.
Filled with Chevys, Fords, Boats, Planes, TVs, PCs, etc, etc, etc.
Beats Hell out of worshiping a Tree.

Happy Saturnalia to all you Nomads!
I will be spending the season in Mexico, worshipping good food and waves.
Just bought my annual insurance from BajaBound.
I'm outta here!

I took a great solstice sunset photo from my patio in Playas. On the winter solstice, the sun sets directly behind Isla Coronado del Norte. On the
summer solstice, the sun sets directly behind the bull ring. This is our 3rd winter solstice living in Playas.
We toasted the solstice with a few adult beverages and a bowl of popcorn and then went inside to eat delicious home made enchiladas and for desert
Rosca de Reyes with Abuelito hot chocolate.
The main north - south road in Playas is liberally decorated with Nativdad and lots of lights and decorations.
