It has been a spectacular week for big swells but today is the grandest of them all! Possibly up to 15' on the big sets...they come thundering in and
slam up against the rocks here in front of the Inn...no point washing the windows till it calms down a bit! While northern baja is getting rain, we
have had mostly sunny days but it did rain a downpour a couple times last night for a few minutes and we have had 25 knot winds...no fishing this
week! this video was from this morning January 8th at La Bufadora Inn in Bahia Asuncion.
It must be so grand to fall asleep to that wonderful "noise" at night!
yes, it is (in playas de tijuana, as well)--but i leave my window open at night so that i wake to the sound of life rushing towards us, unstoppable no
matter how foolishly we act at times.
