Super Nomad?

Well the post counter just rolled over 1000, and apparently that makes me super! All of that activity because I was searching for news about storm damage in September 2014. I had never heard of Baja Nomad before then.

I wonder how many hours that has put me in front of a screen? I think I may have a problem!

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!

I think the problem members have at least 7 or 8 stars...but who's counting?
What counts is what we contribute to the board.

Ah, the virtual world and social media. It becomes a daily, maybe hourly, thing. I opened a facebook account to keep in touch with distant nieces and nephews and see photos of their kids. Eventually a group of friends developed and now I check it daily. I have several facebook friends that post continuously, even taking photos of the dinner they ordered when at restaurants and posting them. Virtual addicts.

I always look forward to getting back to our favorite baja spots in the winter where there isn't any Internet access unless you drive to a town.

When there, I spend a lot of time reading books, talking to people, and enjoying the real, not virtual, world. Imagine that.

Thank goodness for Baja!!! The great escape.
