Positive Encounter w/TJ Police
http://topgunmotorcycles.com/new/2016/03/06/slime-failure/
This account of an experience with a Tijuana Police officer was written by my friend Elden Carl of San Diego. Elden is a very fit 80 years old and
still a very accomplished rider. He was riding a Suzuki DR650.

great story- good to know TJ police provide this kind of assistance.
(When I was involved in a car accident in early January, in Colonet, all the law enforcement officials that arrived were professional and helpful. The
laws made the situation difficult, but the officers were very good in managing the situation. Both Municipal and Federal police responded to the
scene.)

Floridian ugliness.\" (John Steinbeck, 1940, discussing the future of La Paz, BCS, Mexico)

Most of the recent police extortion stories on this message board have occurred in Tecate and Ciudad Constitucion. TJ horror stories have faded into
the past.

I'd like to add my sincere thank you to Officer Yazmín Cerón Sanchez for helping a fellow old geezer. Maybe a BN living at Playas de Tijuana will
print your story + my added thanks and drop it off at the local police station.

Elden is one half of a remarkable couple. His wife Pauline is just about to turn 89 and they still ride two up both on and off paved roads. As
recently as 5-6 years ago I rode with them into San Borja and some other back roads in Baja Sur. We will be doing a Baja ride later in April to mark
her 89th B-day.
