Watched them last night on the big screen TV (via Blue-Ray player and YouTube).

Great fun... Never knew so many whale sharks like Bahia Concepcion!

They have been coming in the past 5 years or so usually when the water gets warmer. A few years ago saw 6 at the same time off of Playa Coyote.

Power boaters beware!! Unfortunately whale sharks are frequently just inches beneath the surface and not visible until it's too late, even in deeper waters.

Hola David!
Did you do your own network set-up to watch through your computer?

I've been trying to figure out the network thing from my router through either my network enabled TV or blue ray player, with no success.
I was thinking of calling the GEEK squad.

Hi Udo,
It is simply a Samsong blue ray dvd player from Costco. On the menu screen are choices for dvd, hulu, amazon, YouTube, and Netflix. All work fine... YouTube is free and the others are subsribed. It is connected to the Internet with a WiFi. It is right below our Samsung TV.
The only issues we have are with amazon streaming TV. We are watching 24 (The Jack Bauer Hour of Power, lol) on it. The show gets interrupted when we have beief Internet loss (Cox Cable) and we need to reestablish the connection.
The modem on Cox cable is connected to a wireless router next to my desk top pc. The dvd player, a laptop, and our smart phones get Internet that way. I am on my phone now while watching Season 5 of 24.

They were selling drones at a little fair next to the arch in tj the other day. They had small drones with video cameras attached to them, and large drones of nearly a square meter. The large drones had maybe 6 or 8 propelers, and long legs which looked like you could attach cargo to them. Looked like they could deliver 5 medium pizzas.

I do it with the help of Apple products. I play the movie on my iPhone from YouTube, then use AirPlay to squirt it to my AppleTV which plays it on the HD big screen. Of course, there's about 100 other ways to accomplish this.

Hi Adrien,
The music is listed in the video descriptions. They are all royalty free music and part of the Youtube Audio Library. The artists have different agreements with Youtube. In the video descriptions I have included as much information that I could from the library. Some of the descriptions have links to the artists website. Hope this helps.

Excellent!

Can you give us some details on your time there?
How much for the campsite, were you satisfied with the value if it was $50+?
How were the operators?
What supplies were offered?
Did you have enough privacy (it seemed so) and did you hear other campers?

I ask these to see how it is now compared with the way it used to be on the opposite side (Arturo's) years ago. There, the campsite was very private, you wouldn't know others were also there, most of the time. It was very special and well worth the higher than typical camping prices. The clean, hot water had a lot to do with that!

Yes, Cañón de Guadalupe was pricey at about $40/night for our small place. Rates are on their website.
http://guadalupecanyonoasis.com/
It's a special place and we did not mind paying the price. We had wanted to go there for the past 12 years. Sites need to be reserved because they empty the tubs if not used for awhile. Then they will clean and fill them before new guests arrive.

It was very private. I was not going to fly my drone there because I thought other guests would be peeed but 1) there is no way that I could have spied on people even if I wanted to do so and 2) there were no other guests there on our second day/night on either side. They were expecting a big group however after we left, and were filling a big pool.

The place is very clean, the grounds are raked often, and the water is very hot. Hot showers and flush toilets were a surprise.

They have a tienda but we did not check it out.

We actually went in on the "recommended" high route but I would not recommend it. Too much washboard. You can fly on the laguna route. The last mile in is fairly rough and high clearance is recommended.

For comparison, there is a nice camping area with a hot spring, that is, Rancho Santa Rita near Santiago, BCS. Cheaper and very beautiful, but there is only 1 pool, the water is not very hot, and there is no privacy. For hiking with pools and waterfalls the nearby Sol de Mayo is very, very nice.
