Mood: I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

Peso to the $

NOTHING POLITICAL, JUST PASSING ALONG INFORMATION!

At the Lays ATM in Loreto yesterday I netted "only" 19.56 pesos to the U.S. $. Before leaving the house I check the XE currency web site and it showed around 20.5.

Naturally I didn't expect to get the same rate but I didn't think it would be that big of a spread. Just goes to show you that you can look at the computer all you want for rates, its just an indication range of what you will actually get.

I'm still selfishly happy with around 20 to 1.

Even though I am on the wagon for a little bit, lets see here;
Happy Hour is 2 for 1
Around 20-1 for the peso
Now is the time to take advantage of Happy Hour

Wednesday is 2 for 1 at Las Parras water and they still charge only 11 pesos for 5 gallons. 2X1 = 10 gallons for 11 pesos at 20 pesos to the $ = .55 cents = .055 a gallon and @ 128 ounces to the gallon = So does that mean my 16 ounces glass of water now costs .006875 a glass of water? That's almost a 3/4 of a penny a glass! I'll stick to Pacifico.
(I love it, I can see everyone getting their calculator out) :biggrin:

Going to 20x1 was forecast months ago...without election influence.
Just invest in the lottery if you want to gamble.

USD-MXN 20.786 0.2106 1.02% 16:31

We all know you're going to pay some vig/points to exchange currency but you should know the actual rate when you make the exchange. It seems that the USD will stay stronger for a while, at least until we know who is paying for the wall and how NAFTA gets "renegotiated". This isn't meant to be a political statement from me, just the facts of the US election results.
