Missing Moto Rider
Hello everyone,
I am hoping that one of you can help me get the word out about a missing rider.
Stuart Endsley, (Mrsteamturbine) was riding thru Mexico this past month after he finished a contractors job. He was in San Felipe on Thursday, and
checked out of his hotel to get to Mexicali. He was going to cross the border Friday morning and head to his home in Beaumont California. He did not
make it to his house. His son is currently searching and talking to border patrol. The Embassy is closed until Monday. I have called and checked a
couple hospitals to see if he was admitted, but we are not finding him. Stuart is a 60 year old male, 6'2" tall, Gray hair and mustache. Stuart is an
expeirenced rider, finished a tour of South America last year.He is riding a 1999, Kawasaki, KLR 650, Teal in color. He would be in his riding suit
Light gray and reflective yellow. He has a silver helmet. The bike was loaded up with his work items and personal belongings and souvenirs. It has
bright Yellow saddle bags/ If anyone is riding in that area, could you please keep a eye out for him or the bike, and contact me .

This will probably not be very helpful, since his whereabouts as of November 24 are apparently known. But just in case... I'm fairly certain I saw him
in Bay of L.A. the evening of Monday, November 21 and morning of Tuesday, November 22. He appeared to be riding solo Monday evening, but I saw [what
I believe to be] him with another rider (on a DR650?) in front of Las Hamacas motel Tuesday morning.

I met Stewart last week in Santa Rosalia, had lunch with him in San Ignacio and then saw him again in Bahia de los Angeles. At BOLA his drive chain
was in pretty bad shape and he was adjusting it. He was wrapping up a 9000 mile ride from Michigan through Central America and Mexico. Told me he
was leaving the bike at his son's place and flying back to Mich. He is an experienced rider with thousands of South American miles on his BMW and
other bikes. Worked on power plants around the world, a very interesting guy. I was at Las Hamacas and saw him leaving town before I did. His plan
was a Gonzaga stop and then overnight in San Felipe. I hope all turns out ok, he is a really good guy and I hope there was no mishap on the very last
leg of his trip.

Now that the gentleman has been found, I wonder if the pineapple stand in the picture is in Ecuador.
