ADIOS MI AMIGO 'Bedman' Steve Cox
This just came to me from Steve's wife:
Hi David
This is Emma I'm very sorry to tell you that Steve/Bedman passed away Sunday, April 30. For years he's had many health problems and they finally all
caught up with him. He died in peace with me at his side... I know only a few of his Baja friends please let them know.
Steve and Emma were always great fun to travel with and see in Baja. Favorite places were Cielito Lindo at San Quintin and Camp Gecko at L.A. Bay
where they built a vacation home.
Steve shared many photos and I created two web pages to show them:
2001: http://www.vivabaja.com/bedman/
2002: http://www.vivabaja.com/bedman2/

Sad news. He was a great guy. Glad we got to share some laughs on his observation tower in Bahia.
Sympathies to his family.

I remember meeting Bedman at Cielito Lindo back in 2001.
He asked me if I had a margarita? (I did).
"But (he said), have you had a BEDMAN margarita"!??
I was impressed!
The sad part of getting older is when you're still here and your friends leave this earth. We have lost so many the past few years.

Vayas con Dios, Bedman. I feel lucky to have been a recipient of your generosity and friendship when I met you and your wife in Baja. Thank you,
amigo.

heres a bedman story, years ago me, my buddy phill and bedman were standing by the beach at camp gecko and bedman used to have to sneak a cigerate
because emma didnt like him smoking. as he fired one up he saw emma comeing our way ( i didnt see her ) and all of a sudden i found a smoking cigerate
in my mouth and i dont smoke. my buddy phill could hardly contain himself from laughter. stories like this are burned in my memories of bedman and all
the people weve lost in the past 30 years. RIP STEVE (BEDMAN)
