Road report

Compared to what it used to be like with all this rain---it is very good. No bad spots that can't be gotten around or over. I don't remember any potholes or washouts. So, go, slow, and have a great safe trip.

We drove over to Laguna Chapala (full) from here (Pta Bufeo) two days ago (Friday) and traffic was moving along Rte 1. Folks coming from the north said the road is fine, with a couple of places where the water had crossed the road being a bit muddy.

I see, however, that the weather report for tomorrow (Mon), Tue, and Wed for Ensenada calls for more rain...heavy at times.

You might want to check in at weather.com tomorrow and see if there are any changes. That site supplies info for both Ensenada and San Felipe.

Later in the week sun comes out. It's sunny right now here; the heavy clouds/fog up on top of the mountains to the SW have disappeared, but our barometer is dropping and the temp is rising a little. Weather unsettled.

Tioga George is parked down at BoLA and his daily blog
http://vagabonders-supreme.net/blog/blog.html
should give you some first-hand info re weather further south.
