It looks like all is lost.

This is what happens when you trust commercial fisherman to manage an ecosystem. The will destroy is for a $1.

So Long ...................
.............. and thanks for all the Fish ?
The Vaquita was a lost cause long ago, but like many, it's taken awhile to peter out.
Based upon the "Once I lost Hope, I felt so much better" theory, those concerned can place the cute little guys in the
been nice to know you file and move on to the next windmill.

Well, the article only says the costly efforts have stopped, as every time they take one to 'protect', they end up killing it. They are still there,
in the sea. So, don't give up hope. Nature is far stronger than most give her credit for.

Keep on raping the SOC. I've been fishing it for over 30 yrs and have watch both the quality and quantity of most if not all species decline on a
steady basis. Commercial, recreational and illegal fishing will eventually turn it into a desert. No thanks.

Get em before they're GONE !
THAT is what I think each time that I buy Swordfish.
Or even Cod.
The day might someday come (even in my lifetime) that the only fish left in the case will be Tilapia and Catfish.
THAT is when I quit eating fish.
Thank God COWS aren't in danger of extinction.
Or PIGS.
