It has been three years since many Nomads got together in the desert between Mexicali and San Felipe (west of Hwy. 5's La Ventana) to enjoy four
wheeling over a piece of the WWII POLE LINE ROAD. Constructed to install and service the telephone line that connected the U.S. radar base at San
Felipe to Ensenada, in 1942.
This was a great group trip enjoyed by many Nomads and non-Nomads, as well.
Thank you David great time I had. Hoping to get you guys going on another run.
That would be great!
I met many Nomads on that trip, in addition to you:
Ed (Ehall), Karl (Fernwah), Harald (4x4abc), and Chuck (ChuckMRN), plus the others who I don't think are on Nomad?
I had already met or traveled with TW, Frigatebird, and Ken Cooke plus the two Nomads who left early (John M and MICK).
