**Cold/windy weather headed to BCS March 2-3**


From MetMex twitter post: cold weather, hail, sleet possible in parts of BCS

Condiciones invernales iniciarán esta misma noche y primeras horas de mañana en el norte de #BajaCaliforniaSur. (Punta Eugenia, Guerrero Negro, Vizcaíno).

-30°C en los 500hPa de altura (5500msnm) se traducirá en mínimas de -2°C a 2°C a nivel superficie.

El centro de la baja presión de la tormenta invernal afectará principalmente la noche del 2 de marzo y la mañana del 3 de marzo. *Atención Mulegé, Loreto y Comondú.

Los pronósticos siguen indicando potencial de granizo, lluvia helada o aguanieve en la sierra del municipio de Mulegé, en elevaciones por arriba de los 800msnm, durante la mañana del 3 de marzo.

Las bajas temperaturas se sentirán en todo BCS, además de viento fuerte, oleaje elevado y potencial de lluvia.

Si - very cool mountain photos. Weather alert for March 10-11: atmospheric river expected to sweep across Baja norte - up to 2" inches of rain; snow level 7,000 ft.
