The Devil's Road: A Baja Adventure

DOCUMENTARY FEATURES

A group of adventurers set out across Baja California on a 5,000-mile journey to recreate the century-old expedition of two prolific and obscure naturalists.

Their search takes them on a thrilling quest—by motorcycle, airplane, boat, and horseback—to recreate the historic, unprecedented expedition across Baja. Along the way, they bear witness to the vibrant culture and unforgettable people, endure the challenges of the road, and get a glimpse into this extraordinary place and its uncertain future.

The Devil’s Road is rich with adventure and shows the interplay between past and present. A film about discovery and change, it acts as an environmental call to arms that pays homage to the strange and awe-inspiring Baja California.

[Available June 12, 12:00 AM - July 12, 12:00 AM, 2020] Watch now in our online Virtual Festival...

Cost?

Can we get a discount code?

If you just want to see this one film, what can be done?

What are the other films?

Not sure I want to pay $25 for just one movie I want to see.

Go to the link and look at the list. You can probably ask the people doing this at their site?

It appears that I have to give them some personal information before they reveal the price, so I am going to have to pass on the movie.

Interesting?
The price has already been posted by someone above, $25? This is not just for one movie but any and all of them.
I will pass along your concern to the producers.
Thank you!

Hey David, thanks for continuing to support our movie by posting this here! For those who don't know I'm JT Bruce, the director of The Devil's Road.

Sorry for all the confusion on price and how to watch, this is being run by the festival and not the filmmakers. I'll post the instructions on how to view below.

This festival is "pay what you want," so you can give as little as $1 or as much as you like to view it. And as for personal information, Eventive is a reputable site in the filmmaking community, so I trust that their information policy and payment method is secure.

Also keep in mind that any money you choose to give is being returned to filmmakers to recoup budget costs. This isn't a money-making scheme for us, as we are still literally tens of thousands of dollars in the hole (never make an indie documentary if you want to get rich!)

We hope you can check out the movie, it's available for streaming on this platform until July 12th.

VIEWING INSTRUCTIONS:

(1) Navigate to the film’s page (https://bit.ly/2O0jQKZ).

(2) Click on “Unlock Now” and enter your email. You will then need to enter your email, full name, and create a password, then click “Create Account.” You will need to create an account on the viewing platform (Eventive) in order to proceed.

(3) Enter your credit card number, expiration date, code, and zip code and click “Save payment method.”

(4) Pay what you want by sliding the toggle left or right or by entering the amount in the box to the right. Click “Unlock now” when you have specified the amount you’d like to pay to watch the film. Once you unlock, you will have 5 days and 5 hours to watch the film.

(5) From the film’s page, you will now see that the “Unlock Now” button has changed to “Watch Now.” You’re now ready to watch the film, or you can come back later within 5 days.

(6) Enjoy! And don't forget to vote for The Devil's Road! Viewers will get a chance to vote for their favorite films in each category.

I wonder how it would impact the amount people pay if they decided on the amount, say half way through the movie instead of before seeing it.
