It has been a beautiful 24 hours all around.
Yesterday, Tidiana brought the kids over for notebooks.
Today, I drove around delivering happiness ($$$)
Here is Danna!!
Every day, the student teachers send me a photo of their student, here is Danna's student Isaac today.
The big news of the day is that Isaac has all A's and A-'s on his report card! I am so thrilled for him! He does not know yet!
The others getting their moola today.
Jesus
Elizabeth and her brother are tutoring Emmanuel and Israel. Alondra is in the scholarship project and has gone back to TJ to finish this semester and
start her last one.
Lastly, we have Sannia! Besides tutoring Alejandro, she has also started teaching English to 2 other kids. It has been years since she was my
student and she says she is teaching what she remembers from 7 years ago!
Her Dad came over to visit Les the other day and thanked me for changing Sannia's state of mind. She was in a funk after college, did not find
herself a job (not in the scholarship program).
Great day today! Happy thanksgiving everyone!

Three of the five student teacher's dads are in the cooperative, so their families are doing fine, financially. Two of them, Elizabeth and her
brother Alberto's dad is a bricklayer, so this is great for them.
Elizabeth used to be in the scholarship program and dropped out before she even started her first semester. I am hoping that this stint as an
instructor might make her consider teaching as a profession? It is a shame to waste such a brilliant mind - she was a straight A student in high
school. She has a heart of gold. The family is close which is a great base to start from.
