Skeet / Rancho Sonrisa in Loreto

Reading through old posts here, I keep coming across Skeet talking about his "Rancho Sonrisa" and its giant local built palapa with 67 windows

He says its somewhere on the beach north of La Pinta hotel in Loreto, now situated in between 2 gringo mansions

Anyone have any pictures of the joint? Or have any idea where it might have been?

I imagine its doesnt exist anymore, likely swallwed up by the "Costa Loreto" gringo enclave :(

Guy sure has some good stories, seemed like a bit of a kook but normal people are boring anyway!

So.. Skeet and Virginia had their Rancho Sonrisa north of town between Charlie Licha’s place on the south and Tony Kinninger’s place on the north... The palapa was torn down, and the property is now owned by Kent Williams, and his large mansion that is on the market...
Skeet was pretty happy with those 67 wood/ glass windows, until the winds would blow and the rattling would not stop...

Kris, was Skeet's place near Nick's or closer to town? Just curious. Missing Skeet here on Nomad!

Met Skeet at the 2003 Pyramid Resort Book Signing. Here he is with Jimmy Smith (who was the Grinning Gargoyle of Baja California)! Jimmy is wearing the hat.

defrag4, Skeet turns 90 in May but does not do Internet any more. Virginia can't find your message to respond, but saw it. Resend if you wish. She sure misses the beach!
