Never understood what type of inhumanity drives people to buy from breeders when so many dogs to choose from in shelters, or so many to choose from

Mikimoto is her official AKC registered name. After the Japanese pearls.
I'll call here Miki. Wife calls here Momo - which apparently means Peach in Japan. Akita's are from Japan originally. Wife was born in Tokyo.
