Never understood what type of inhumanity drives people to buy from breeders when so many dogs to choose from in shelters, or so many to choose from among stray street dogs in Mexico...

That thick-fur dog doesn’t look to be very well-suited for socal or baja heat!

I'll call here Miki. Wife calls here Momo - which apparently means Peach in Japan. Akita's are from Japan originally. Wife was born in Tokyo.
