Guardian Angel Island - Free eBook

Finished my latest photo eBook – Guardian Angel Island!

Describes all my major trips to the island since my 2003 first trip over with 72-year-old Canadian, Cal Sherman in his 12-foot Valco aluminum boat.

So grateful to all those who helped me along the way.

Antonio Reséndiz in particular, but also Roger Silliman and Jean of Villa Bahia, Cal Sherman of course, Mike Essary who parachuted me a much-needed barrel of beer and kindly let me use his Bahia beach house for many trips, and Roberto and Efren Ocaña who reliably took me to the island and picked me up several times.

My biggest eBook ever - 400 color pictures, 415 pages. Was just glad I could upload it.

Paddy insisted I offer it for FREE. Tried to tell him that’s a lot of honey… He won.

FREE on Amazon Kindle for 4 more days. After that... will cost an arm and a leg. Enjoy.

Very Generous, I have enjoyed all of your books

Quick question
You thank Antonio Resendiz
Are you referring to young Tonio?
His dad, our long time close friend Antonio, died a couple years ago.
Just curious
great family, and really good people

So happy to be able to share these Baja Adventures. Enjoy.

The Antonio Resendiz referred to is Antonio senior. Before he passed he helped me in so many ways with the 2006 trip, the book "Marooned With Very Little Beer", and putting me in touch with many people who lived and worked on the island... especially those in the scallop camp and folks who helped install the decompression chamber out there after all the fatalities.

Have loved camping on the beach in Campo Archelon over the years, and great to see young Tony and Bety making it such a fascinating, welcoming place.

Yes, fishermen out there warned me about "vampire cats." That one was recently dead... maybe "undead."

Thanks David for all the posting... and the kind words.

Awesome photos and book Graham. I'll buy the book.

First visited the island around 2001. At the Northern anchorage.

Took my teen kids to see it in 2018.

Thank you. The weather really cooperated that day. It was flat as glass on the water. Shot every thing in a couple hours.

Thanks for the ebook and thanks for the awesome video of the island. That water was indeed crystal clear and smooth as glass!

Terrific video JZ. Wonderful to see it so beautifully presented from on-high. Very different from my kayak perspective. Brought back so many memories.

In looking at the book I noticed the dead Humboldt squid - I remember that from 2006 in Punta Chivato. It was awful, hundreds of squid died and washed up on shore. Thank goodness someone had some teens around to bury them in the sand, the smell was horrendous. If I recall, it was a mating event that caused the die off?
