Hot air ballooning in Goreme, Turkey
We went hot air ballooning and it was out of this world fantastic! Les's son thought we were crazy but it was so fun and not scary AT ALL. Until the
landing, that is.
Our hotel set us up to go hot air ballooning at 5 am, leaving from a hotel that was 3 min walking distance from us: The Royal Balloon. Our pilot had
10 years experience and was really funny!
Afterwards, we were treated to champagne and a visit with the owner who owns 10 of these 120.000 pound each hot air balloons. Young guy and obviously
a good businessman.
Only 150 balloons allowed at any one time, used to be 200 but it was excessive.
Enjoy the photos - it was an experience of a lifetime.

Thank you, David! All I see is empty space, but I trust there are some photos there LOL
Turns out one can also go ballooning at the travertine pools in Pamukkale but we didn't go again.

They are beautiful photos... Perhaps it is because Postimages.org is not available in Turkey? Do you see any photos on other posts on Nomad... ones
that are attached rather than hosted... Here is one, attached (1949 ConcepciĆ³n Bay) followed by one hosted (same place in 2016):
