Neat shot...I have no idea where it is! Wouldn't that be considered a "cinder cone" rather than a lava spewing volcano?

closest road to the volcano is 5 miles away
good hiking trail (Camino Real) starts at Rancho Las Paredes
or Rancho Casas Viejas
while you are at it you could check out the Basalt cave nearby

There are a bunch of conical volcanoes in that area. If you are looking for a fun challenge, camp at the top of this driveable hill -- El Pabellon at
GPS: 26.0993, -111.8946 -- and look out over the surrounding sea of volcanoes.

Cerro El Pabellon is a great spot!
very close by is this "family" of volcanoes
