Flying with dog from US info

Just flew back from vacation in the US with or dog and was given incorrect information by Alaska.
Many of you may already know this, buy Mexico does NOT require a health certificate that Alaska said we needed.
After a treasure hunt in the US to get one, we got taken for $200 by a walk in vet clinic only to present it to the airline counter guy, who could have cared less about it and said it was a Mexico requirement.
In the airport in mex there is a service who sees the dogs unload and check the dog out anyway. She said many gringos have these health certs. that they, Mexico, don't care about. They look at he dog there and if you happen to bring dogs vaccination records it is fine but not mandatory.

Nothing else required!

Hope this saves someone some coin

It's better to be safe than sorry.

I got one for my new pup flying back from Tampa in January. I don't think they asked for it either. But I'm sure not missing a flight the day they do decide to check it.

Btw, in January Alaska was just about the only airline taking pets in the cargo hold. All the others stopped it during Covid. Not sure if that has changed since.

P.S. please change your user name. We shouldn't be celebrating gruesome murderers.

Don't go there dude! Your messiah is responsible for somewhere near 750k up to this point in the US and your other god for a big chunk of it in Florida

What about phonetically spelled names for male body fluids from the reproductive system?

When we flew with our dog to Loreto in 2011 a health certificate was required, but the requirement was dropped a few years ago. You should however, bring a printout from your vet indicating the status of all the dog's shots. Rabies is required to travel back into the USA, though I have never been asked for proof, but that may have been because my dog wore his rabies tag on his collar.

Practically any name can be distorted into an insult.

That reflects more negatively on the insulter than the insultee.

But trolls are such low hanging fruit!
