Meet Adventure Aaron Carlotta rowing around the world!!!

We have had the pleasure of hosting Aaron for a few days here in Bahia Asuncion as he stopped in to rest and provision on his way rowing around the world. He is a courageous, energetic, funny, generous, kind warrior of a guy who has an incredible story! and can he EAT!!!

I just had to see his boat Smiles up close and see how she rowed and check out all the high tech gear he has onboard and his little pod he sleeps in...it's a very well designed craft. If I was 10 years younger and unemployed I would row with him! Watch for him rowing down the coast and feed him if you can! Definitely worth chatting with him and hearing his amazing story...dude can spin a yarn!

Read all about it and watch his videos at www.rowingmyboat.com and he is on facebook too Adventure Aaron Carlotta. https://www.facebook.com/search/top?q=adventure%20aaron%20ca...

WOW, what a feat! For me doing something like that in the water is crazy, on land I'm game! Will have to follow for sure.

What an adventure !
I wish him all the luck and good fortune there is………..

He’s going to need it, the sea can be an unforgiving Monster at times.

I couldn’t help but remember this adventuresome Man,,,,

Not trying to rain on his parade, but what he’s trying to do is really pushing the limits !
Sure hope he makes it ………………

Since I've given up all hope, I feel much better

I hope he makes it. I will be following him. Small boat + big ocean can be frightening.

I enjoy following adventurers like this, especially when they chronicle their journey online with periodic or daily updates.
Unfortunately, this guy appears to have tried creating an adventure journal/blog, but it is a messy website and difficult to read/follow. I clicked around his website, and found it disjointed mess, and the Facebook link is dead. He needs a social media manager to organize his mess and create a venue to share his journey. I hope his journey is better planned than his blog about the journey.

For those interested in Mexico adventuring, Freya hoffmeister has resumed her kayak trip around North America and is back in Mexico,… she provides entertaining reading with almost daily updates on Facebook.
