Trip from Loreto to La Paz on the ocean

We went 170 miles over 3 day.

Route track: https://share.garmin.com/TravelingBaja

If you zoom in you can see a satellite view of the track instead of topo. Or can just switch it.

Punta Colorado. I had never been here before. One of the best little bays in the SoC. The pictures don't it justice. The water is crystal clear,
turquoise color, and a white sand bottom. They have built a little marina.

There were about 30 very large boats at Isla San Francisco, so we skipped ahead to Isla Espiritu Santo.

Wow, Punta Colorado(a?) is beautiful and serene. Looks like you had a great voyage, and some good fishing too!

Dorado are just such colorful fish when landed, hope you ate well. Nice to see a real trip report!

Hard to tell (or judge) without seeing a photo of you to compare! Let's see what a mountain goat devil looks like!

This looks beautiful! Can you please show where this is on the map? I have tried to search for it but can't find it.

I'm probably goofing things up but those coordinates on my phone look like they are well out in the Sea of Cortez east of San Francisco (north of
Tembabichi). Am I just technology challenged?

Is the location actually about 2 miles north of Tembabichi?

JZ, nice catch. Are you on your own boat or did you hire someone?

Harald, we took some drone shots of Rancho Carrizalito, just above Puerto Gato. I'll try to post them tomorrow.

The nice beach North of there that you talked about was getting pounded by the swell and we couldn't get a close look at it.
