Memorial event for Coco
Many folks have contacted me in recent days, asking if there will be any type of memorial service / event for Coco as well as inquiring as to any
plans the family has for his camp moving forward.
I spoke with several members of Coco's family including his older brother Victor yesterday, who is in charge of handling Coco's affairs. I shared with
him that many are interested in participating in such an event for Coco and asked him what their plans were.
He shared with me that they followed Coco's wished to be cremated and are discussing their options going forward, including a possible public event at
Coco's Corner where his friends he met over the last several decades could come and pay their respects.
They are very open to the idea and asked for my help in gauging the number of people who might attend. To help them better organize such an event,
please express your interest here:

The results will be shared with the family and I will share their plans in the coming days. I am sure you probably have a lot of questions about what
is going to happen there at his camp, his guest books, etc and I will make a separate post about all of that very soon.
If you are on Facebook, please share this post to your feed as well as other related groups to help get the word out and generate the best response.
Thank you!

Thank you for being involved with his family, and their plans. I would be interested in participating in some sort of memorial service, depending on
when it is held.
For what it is worth, I feel that his old location would be the appropriate place to hold it. I look forward to your updates!

I agree with AK, the old location would be a way better venue and I'd be down to attend.

Any updates?
I went to talk Baja's site and signed up, but found nothing. I will be heading that way soon, and was wondering what sort of memorial was going to be
constructed, and what materials are going to be needed?
