Caravan heading from San Felipe to Ligui

Hi everyone Happy New Year !

I'm going to spend Friday night Jan 7th in San Felipe then head out in the morning on Hwy 5 south. Going to drive until early afternoon then find a safe spot/town to spend the night then move on again the next morning. Should be in Loreto /ligui that afternoon.

We are traveling in a RV and towing a small pickup.

Anyone looking to hookup and head south with us would be welcome

Safety in numbers and help if mechanical problems

I've driven the Baja more times then I can remember.

It will be my third time on Hwy 5. First time I drove it it was not paved boy was that a trip I will never forget. Last time on Hwy was 5 years ago. Mostly paved and great trip. Looking forward to seeing the changes.

Give me a u2u Via Baja. ligui

ligui,

We just drove the route. The road is in good shape there was gas (regular) at Gonzaga. There are a couple of short detours just south of the 28th. Lots of newly repaved road, including through Santa Rosalia (finally). Hope you have a space reserved as the good places looked full.

The Banios at the Pemex at the 28th were out of service use the station at Jose Y Maria!

Thanks David,

Apple and I both spell poorly in Spanish! I received the Hotel brochure. It’s neat! I’ll post a picture when we hang it on the wall of the new place.

Thanks again and Happy New Year!
