Why we moved to BCS!

Here is a major reason past the low cost of living, nice people and the weather.

Crime up north and the inability to deal with it. BCS and Mexico have crime as well. But they aren’t going out of their way to subsidize it.

Clark might not know the violent history of Rancho Nuevo. High walls and dogs on the other side. Don't leave the house empty.

Crime in MX vs. US?

In MX, get in trouble and you're on your own. The cops will rob you blind. Pay to have a crime investigated. Hurt the perp and you'll be arrested. Anything I'm leaving out?

US Marines: providing enemies of America an opportunity to die for their country since 1775.

What I say before any important decision.
F*ck it.

The gringo gated community of "rancho Nuevo" is a magnet for crime. Which i find ironic due to people's reasons for choosing to live isolated from mexicans behind a locked gate. (Except for Mexican workers)

Guys,

Since a few million Americans have moved to Baja and Mexico in spite of the constant drumbeat of negative news “why did you move to Mexico?” is a very topical question.

Rather than be the Nabobs of Negativity that you usually are, why not tell the folks why you moved to Mexico?

FWI - We left CA North in 2006. Currently we are residents of SD!

FYI2 - Utah is the #1 rated State followed by Washington and Idaho! SD is #12 California North is #49!

You didn't ask that question. You titled this thread as a statement, complete with exclamation mark, which you seem to think is required punctuation 50% of the time.

Mt Goat- As a worshipper of the 666, your contribution to society in general is viewed in a very dim light. (Similar to your intellect) Your incessant attacks on anything that is associated with critical thinking makes me think your contribution to California has been exclusively in the “lose” column. A sheep will be a sheep.

A shame that such a pretty state has such a poor ambassador.

Back to the topic of BCS:

Some of the nicest people and neatest villages and towns are to be found there.

My favorite 3 spots-

1) Mulege
2) Loreto
3) Concepcion beaches

Goat,

I’ll gladly give you my share of #49 on the list.

BTW Did you notice that 5 of the top 10 crime ridden pest holes were within a few miles of your place?

PB, the gate is open 7:00 to 7:00. The two beach accesses are open 24/7 as per the law.
