NO history of quakes here but we had 3 months of em...sometimes up to 40 a day!! every few minutes and up to 6.0...the town was evacuated for a week
by the military...it was a BIG deal and none of us will ever forget those horrific months. Nearly all the homes suffered damages and we remain
psycologically scarred by it. Still have small tremors every week but nothing big again thank goodness.

When was that? Makes me think about putting in more rebar when we eventually (long way off) build something...

Felt in Los Cabos, strong enough to almost tip the plant stand over. I checked my watch, it was 1:14.

Thats a good point when we built I was not happy with the 2nd story so had them put and extra beam, and went down and bought 10 lengths of 1/2" rebar,
so when we had the quake we never got out of our recliners.

Sounds like Baja is moving north some more------horizontal movement, which would not cause Tsunamis. Vertical movement causes tsunami's, I believe.

Yep, and I thought already one of the Pacificos last night was bad....
But hey, Barry is right....
