Yea,
He asked if I wanted to pay the fine now, or go to the station.
I said let's go to the station.
He gave vague directions, "exit at Playas, make a right..."
I did that there was no station.
He pulled me over again, and asked what I thought I should pay.
I asked I if could pay by credit card at the station, he said no, cash only, now.
I relented and paid him the mordida. He was very polite, so I wasn't too bummed about it, plus I was speeding, so it wasn't a completely bogus shake down

I looked up the address for the Playas de TJ station when I got home it is on Av. Pedregal & del Agua, blocks in the wrong direction from where he told me it was.

Taco de Baja,

WOW. I'm surprized the "officer" didn't have a fake

building front [propped up by a couple of 2x4s in the back]

for a "station". He really did not want to share the

fine with the other officers, did he ?

Take Care,

CaboRon

GREAT IDEA !! :bounce:

I'll bet just pulling the list out might deter some police from pursueing the mordida.

Welcome to the forum lovebahia22,

I sometimes wonder if people are exceeding the fifty mile per hour speed limit or incurrung outher infractions.....OR are people being pulled over for doing nothing wrong.

Keep reading posts by persons on this forum talking about regularly exceeding the posted limits.

Just Wondering ,

The only people that get stopped on I-5 are those in the slow lane. The law can't catch those in the fast lane.:spingrin:

You're saying there first needs to be a violation?

Since when?

But your statement does deserve attention. (If...for a totally different reason.)

I call it "Gridlock at Eighty" or simply "GAT"

That all changes though when in No. Cal. where I call them "POR" drivers. That stands for "Pass On the Right" drivers. :wow::o:OWow:cool:who;Dwas:Pthat:saint:guy!
