Graham, I really feel for your loss.
In my lifetime I have gone through 8 dogs, though none were Baja rescues, but know of several who are.
BTW...how is Oladulce doing?
Graham, the sorrow of your loss is somehow brightened by Keri's poem. I had to print it (cut and paste it to WORD). The poem is an absolute gem, Keri!
Now we have an African Grey parrot. He will outlive most Nomads.

Hi Graham,
I am sorry for your loss. Of course I have read all of your books, more than once. You have shared your adventures with many people, and your dogs
have lived a life of adventure that was certainly enjoyed.
Do you have anything new coming up soon? It is always an enjoyable time when I pick up one of your books.

Thanks Nomads for all the kind words and beautiful thoughts. The sadness and tears I experienced at the loss of both Pedro and Penny is easily
outweighed by all the joy and laughter they brought us over the years, and knowing that after shaky beginnings they both had so much happiness,
freedom and love in their lives.
Keri, I sure appreciate the touching Rainbow Bridge story. Hard to put it better…. Love knows no boundaries. And thanks Bajacat, looking forward to
seeing you at that Taco shop.
No new books planned just yet sd, but hope to be soon spending a little time on Guardian Angel Island, and when it warms up, in the San Pedro Mártir.
Pedro loved to sit beside me on his own chair keeping warm by the fire at night, and probably keeping an eye open for coyotes and mountain lions. When
I go I’ll be taking an extra chair for him.

The feeling of loss never goes away, nor do the memories of happiness
It's hard when they have to leave.. glad some some of the kind thoughts from all helped a bit...
Really like the chair

Pedro
Graham, So sorry for your loss of Pedro. Glad that Max and Rusty got to hike with him on his last day on this earth. The day we spent with the dogs
was priceless and a perfect memory of your beloved Pedro. We will have another hike when you return from Baja.

Thanks Mike,
That was such a wonderful last hike for Pedro with his buddies. He was so happy and full of energy walking through the desert.
Thanks for taking this picture of us.

Graham and Bonnie-- that is so sad. Our hearts and thoughts go out to you. Pedro was one lucky dog and chose his master wisely!
I`ll give Toby extra hugs for Pedro and Penny every day.
