This winter, the Marinas in Bahia de los Angeles were stopping boats and/or checking at the ramp for valid boat registration, didn't care about
fishing licenses.

Those are DEs, John. Destroyer Escorts....WW2 vintage.
I don't know how many are left here [I thought they sent one to La Paz] , but there used to be at least one more until, around twenty five or thirty
years ago when they ran one of them onto the beach up around Salsipuedes where it became a landmark and rusted away to almost nothing.
Tourism was just in it's formative period or they would have turned it into a restaurant.

Welll...I don't see the DEs in there.......perhaps due to their age and limited usefulness.
None the less, my good ol' bud, John who is still living in Ensenada, was a helmsman [ isn't that the guy who steers the ship?] on a DE and he says
that's what they are...or were....and he knows.

Navy Ships
WE were in Acapulco in 79 during a Mexican Holiday, you would have thought the whole Mexican Navy was there they were firing gun salutes and they had
a parade that was awesome.
The thing about the parade that stood out the civil employees were carrying a big banner that said Communist Workers Party and another group was
carying Swastika's. It really made me nervous because I wasnt Packing.

The day I learn that I have to prove anything to you, is the day I'll walk out in front of a train.

Thank you. I dislike being miscalculated. It shows a lack of respect.
Have you heard anything about how this guy and his granny are getting along? Do you think he's buying her gifts....you know....jewelry and stuff?

Buy your fishing license online @ www.bestbajafishing.org/fishing-permits.php if you need another copy you can logon to the site anytime if the license is current and print out
another one. |
I'm receiving reports that the website above is having technical issues and timing out visitors when they're trying to process fishing licenses.
