Frankly I hope they eliminate the many shops that abound in the area-they are tacky and take away from the scenic beauty of the Bufadora. Also, every
time I go there they try to sell me Viagra, I guess I look "in need" of a boost!
I hope the Feds. or local government take it over and turn it into a park. Is the Bufadora area part of ejido? I believe the houses across the bay are
in an Ejido area. |
the Bufadora would be Federal.

Don't know what you mean by, "across the bay", Roger, but if you mean Rancho la Bufadora with all the houses, that's Toscano property. Not ejido
property. It has nothing to do with the contested area.

Federal zone goes only to twenty meters above, or beyond the mean high tide line, which would exclude most of the contested property.

That's not entirely true I have lived in the area for a long time and I would venture to say that as many Mexican's from Tijuana and Mexicali visit
the Buf. as all of the Gringo Tour Ship Crowd. |
Maybe so. The locals, Ensenada etc., come out in droves...especially on weekends. They see the place as their Disneyland. There isn't much else for
them to do. Not many of them want to go out to Guadalupe Valley and sip wine with their pinky finger pointing in the air. |
Hey Denny boy,
Is that "pinky finger" comment jealousy, reverse snobbery from the uncouth, homophobia, or all of the above?
