If he was helping to transport the Doctors, I would think his flying skills would have been known and scrutinized carefully before anyone hopped in with him. From the limited view in the video it would appear he tried to pull the plane off the ground without having quite enough airspeed to lift off. He appears to be somewhere between aerodynamic control and ground control which is not a good place to be with no room to spare. Most pilots will speculate their opinion of causes for accidents, but at the same time admit they are probably wrong, as the NTSB report usually confirms.(which is not going to happen here)

I've used that runway for 25 years without any problems. Once it was flooded with a broken water pipe and still dozens planes landed and took off that weekend with no issues. Extreme gusts of wind can ruin your day if encountered at the exact worst instant, but pilot skill is the bottom line.
