A discussion about P-nche Gringos ????

Why not go down to the corner and shout "Eh, Putos!!" at the passing cars and passersby? I'm sure someone will find it humorous. Or maybe not.

Come on John, we are trying to be civil here, so that should be "Eh P*tos!"

Mojado?

I guess I really have had a sheltered exposure to Spanish jargon. I thought Mojado was one of those mixed drinks I would never get around to ordering!

You're right! How about "P*nche P*tos!!!" A win-win combo.

You won't see me in public shouting offensive language at others, how about yourself?

My favorite Southern saying:

"If you can't hunt with the big dogs, stay on the porch."

I mentioned this to a friend who is a native speaker of Spanish and he said that P-nche can mean a cook's helper - specifically on a ship. I hadn't heard that one before. The cook's helper idea was in the article.

I see the humor in the restaurant's name. Think Mexicanos think it's funny too. Bet the owner laughs when the name is brought up -- esp. by gringoes.

Snowflakes easily insulted by Spanish might need to laugh more.

What I say before any important decision.
F*ck it.
