. . .At least, when DK "BLOVIATES", it is in a friendly, informative & helpful manner. . .I for one, dislike some of the NEGATIVITY &
distasteful comments that some folks post here. . .Does not lend any useful service to the discussions. . .I grew up where my Mom said if you don't
like it the don't look / read / participate in it. . .Just saying. . .Keep the crap slinging in your own house. . .

Goooooood, morning Mulege....
Has the rain kept on after your last post? How's the road to your place, is it passable with 2wd and trailer? We're headed to Los Naranjos .
Right now we're in GN and the ski is kind of cloudy, warm and not windy.
Last nigh we hit a cow on the road about 135km north of Punta Prieta -not much damage to the left fender and bumper- and about 20 km south of Cataviña
a cattle truck turned over after hitting one as well, so anyone driving Hwy 1 must really be careful specially at night.

Light rain and drizzle alternating with sun continuing up here in Loma Azul after the strong rains before dawn this morning. FB photos posted by a
friend showed mudflows at the usual intersections in Mulege center. Sadly, the kids at the school behind Saul's had to cancel the carwash fundraiser
they had sold tickets to this weekend to raise money for their trip to Mexicali. Hopefully, they can find a day later this week to reschedule so they
won't have to refund all the money for the tickets they sold. Heading over to Oasis to see about river levels in a while. Yesterday's storm didn't
produce any river flooding. Hope today is OK too.

Friends went from Mulege to GN yesterday and reported no major problems, except for flowing arroyos near Punta Chivato. They are at Cowboy Hotel,
towing a red class 5 (vw bug) and are heading back this morning. Mulege has the usual mud, slight continuous drizzle, sun is trying hard to come out.

Wow! Monsoons.thanks for the heads up. Acc to local forecast, it may be coming our way. ("Weather service now estimating Palomar Mountain could get
1.8 inches of rain next week. Lindbergh estimate: 0.88")
record breaking rainfall may continue in California Sur- many are hoping it makes it up north to help the firefighters.

Hi! I'm back. Well not back in Baja but Doug got me signed back in here.
Some reports from friends in Chivato say the roads, old and new are not passable right now. The satellite shots look ominous for today and there is
another storm building down south. I'll update as I get info from PC unless someone down there post info.

Thanks to everyone.... I packed up, tarped the truck bed and checked the boat.... then I read your postings and went to check out at Terrasal, they
told me if I was sure I wanted to check out because later they'll be overbooked due to the storm coming.... I just booked back in again, disconnected
the boat and here we are at Malarrimo enjoying some entries and drinks before lunch... asi que lo unico que vamos hacer es relajarnos y disfrutar....

Bob and Susan, thanks for your careful descriptions of the weather and conditions at your place on Conception. I am around the corner in Coyote Bay
(when I am there) and look forward to your reports. We'll stop by and say HI next time, probably early Nov.
