But how can we believe you? Gnukid said covid was all a scam, a fake (and he said if it was real then the cure was sunshine, fresh air, healthy food
and other elements of upper middle class life of leisure).
Woke!
Hands off!

oh heck, don't believe me!
I am not a doctor
but I am smart enough to understand research papers
they usually contain data, conclusions and opinions
and then there are supportive indicators
like how many people have died in India
can I trust anything any government says?
not always - a good portion of skepticism is healthy
my skepticism makes me ask - what reason could they (all countries) have to fake it?
I decided to trust them for once
and then there are the doctors I know personally and trust 100%
they say there is an illness out there that makes some people very sick and it kills more than we like
call it the scam virus if you like - it still kills people
not good
I have had it twice (some illness that matched all the published symptoms) including some long term effects
been vaccinated now and feel better than ever
seems like it erased the side effect buggers
can I go party now?
no more face cover?
I decided to play it safe and keep my distance to people (not only for health reasons)
as I said - I read a lot. If how other plages have played out are an indicator:
it won't be over for a long time
nuff rant - back to the pool

My friend from Culiacan was set to play a Metallica show in Ensenada on Friday and a wedding on Saturday. Just found out his drummer got Covid and
has to cancel. Second time drummer has had Covid.

Yep, the notion of "normal" will be be in transition .... upon transition. Sad to see the risk promoted by anti-vaxxers and their influencing an
unpredictable economic recovery, as well as soclal and health recovery. Cabo is reportedly rated as third worst area of spiking transmissions in
Mexico.

I have been studying cemeteries in Baja
Santa Rosalia has 8 cemeteries with several thousand graves
there is a hidden one with 1,200 simple graves
Santa Rosalia had never more than 5,000 mine workers
money over health

Meanwhile, back on topic
Reading the Baja Western Onion over the past couple of weeks there is anecdotal evidence of increased infection in the Todos Santos area. Larger music
gatherings are being postponed, as are art studio openings and other events that are likely to draw crowds. There isn't the sense of panic we saw six
months or so ago, but it seems the tourist season is wrapping up earlier than usual as a preventative measure, and the expat community is maintaining
a lower profile.
It's around this time of year that we usually plan our winter getaway. I wish we had a crystal ball to peek ahead to February 2022, but for now we're
just watching and hoping...

The postvaccination data shows that the vaccine Sinovac to have an efficacy of 51% worldwide. This is the predominant vaccine given to the people of
Baja. That's a pretty low number. The good news is that those that did get infected had a mild case without hospitalization. Still, the symptoms can
persist for months.

Yep. That lit a fire under his a$$. A connoisseur of conspiracies.
He's the counterpart to DavidK's map posts. One word of encouragement and you get a blast of 15 maps.

There is practically zero risk from CV, colds or flu when people focus on managing their personal health with preventative health, prophylactics, and
treatment with nutrition, diet, exercise, sunshine, fresh air, and exercise, all of which are easily achieved in Baja!

Fresh air is the number one health factor for most causing complications resulting in complications from colds, flu and pneumonia.
Intubation is the number one factor associated to cause of death associated to Flu, due o lack of fresh air, yet, it is incentivized by CDC/WHO for CV
patients with 80% intubated resulting in death.

Allowing the spreading of misinformation on a website for clicks and ads is immoral in my book. Gnukid deserves to be banned for spreading this BS.
That spread has deadly effects on our fellow humans.
