The war the Dem Cabal who ran America for 4 years enabled in Ukraine forced Germany to fire up a bunch of coal plants.

Plus how much pollution did the war itself create. Why aren't you condemning that?

If you cared about clean energy you would push nuclear, not inefficient solar and wind that tears up the Earth and requires child labor in Africa.

Mining in some countries uses child labor. The manufacturing of fossil fuel and nuclear power plant equipment relies on mined raw materials same as any other industry…

Woke!

Hands off!

“Por el bien de todos, primero los pobres.”

“...ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country.” “My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man.”

From a little over a year ago:

https://www.eceee.org/all-news/news/news-2024/coal-phase-out...
While German inflation reached a 40-year record high in 2022 due to high energy prices, it has since rebounded and fell in March to its lowest level since June 2021, a new survey revealed on Monday.

Electricity and gas prices have fallen significantly, while the expansion of renewable energies means that “the majority of electricity now comes from clean, climate-friendly sources”, said Habeck.

On Sunday, seven of the 15 coal-fired power plants, which had a total capacity of around 3.1 gigawatts, were already taken off the grid in the Rhenish mining area and in Brandenburg.

On Monday, the German economy ministry announced the shutdown of eight additional coal-fired power stations, with a total capacity of 1.3 gigawatts.

In addition, within the past year, our good friends in Bavaria with forward looking good business sense have installed rooftop solar and now sell more power to the grid than they use each year, not only receiving a high return on their investment, but now entirely independent of future power cost increases or brownouts. Germany continues it's advances with purchases of green hydrogen from Canada for use in their growing use of hydrogen fuel cells for transportation and military use (notably their extreme stealth submarines).

What is green Hydrogen? Years ago, Lencho suggested this in this very thread as a partial solution to climate change initiatives in global shipping.

Not only has ThyssenKrupp's commitment to green hydrogen use been tackling the CO2 issue, it's been extremely rewarding to investors in TKMS especially in these troubled times. South Korea's Hanwha is following a similar strategy, and is another rapidly growing Marine supplier. It's the technology of the future, like it or not.
