Latest NOAA track shows Lorena taking a 60° left turn, BIG change in direction, indicates eye crossing the Horn of Baja just west of Guerrero Negro.
Hopeful sigh of relief for Sta.Rosalia-Mulegé.
Photos of Cabo look like a genuine mess to clean up

A wise man once told me...never trust a hurricane and he is right! It looked like Lorena would cross over and dump inland and on the gulf side and
she liked the warm water up our way in Bahia Asuncion and decided to drink it which caused us to get more rain than we get in a year by far...nearly
2.5 inches over about 15 hours of steady rain. The desert is sooo happy! The good thing is there was very little wind so my gardens all are happy. On
to the next one....

Thanks for the report Shari....were you out singing in the rain? Did Guerrero Negro get just as wet?
If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!
"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!
