Turkey Feast again - Last one
Well folks, after a lot of thought, Teina, Teresa, Jerry and I have decided that 13 is a great number and this the number of years we have smoked
turkeys on Dec 31st, so this is the last one. Those of you that have been thinking "I'll see what that's all about next year" will have to do it
now.
It's been great hosting these and meeting tons of new friends, but we think that this is enough for us. Then we can go to the one that some of you
put on in coming years.
As El Dorado Ranch has increased security checks, I suggest you write down the following to show when you enter,
Lou & Teina Wells
Los Viejeros South
Block 8, Lotes 2, 15 & 16
We will tell the security people that you're coming so it should be easy entry.
Directions again
Turn west on Zoo Road or Saltito Road (same thing) just before the new Pemex 7 miles north of San Felipe
Drive west about 3 miles and turn left (south) at the sing "Los Viejerso South, (Next street after #16.
Head south about 1/3 mile, past 2 Alto signs and you will see a white trailer with a large canvas canopy beside it. Next lot turn left and find a
place to park - and welcome to the party.
A little something to share, whatever you want to drink and chairs if you got them. (George and Louise, don't try to bring them on your MC)
Hope to see a lot of Nomads here again this year.

I am glad we will be there!

Thank you Lou and Teina for doing this, we have been looking forward to it all year!
LOU & TIENA's GPS (map datum at factory setting WGS84): N31º05.416' W114º55.952'
or at map datum set to NAD27 Mexico (like the topo maps): N31º05.410' W114º55.911'
Is this still correct Lou, or did the earth shift with the last quake?

It's still right on David, even the smokers are in the same place.
Thanks for posting the GPS coords.

Hey Paul
Sorry to hear you can't make it for this last one but look forward to seeing your dad again. I've looked for you in the store but they always say "He
went home early today"
Happy new year to you and all the family.

It came and went
Well, the last of our Turkey Feasts happened today. 6 turkeys sacrificed themselves for the event. As always, with the help of a lot of great
helpers it went smoothly. Had a little over 200 here to share the feast. Several Nomads attended, some locals, some from the old country. Saw
lots of old friends (some not too old), met lots of new ones and had a great time. Those of you who missed it, stop by sometime anyway.

I wish I could have been there, Lou. $$Gas Money$$ has got me homebound at the moment. I hope it turns out great, and I'll look forward to seeing
plenty of pictures.
Tranquilo, amigo...

It could not have been a more perfect end to a great tradition. The weather was great as was the food and the participants. Hope to see you soon, Rob

Thanks Lou and Teina for another great turkey feast and another great time in Baja. Shirley and I loved it. We will miss this get together since this
was the last one, but who knows what the future holds. That's the mystery of Baja.

Thanks Tom and David for the comments. It was a great party. We've enjoyed hosting these for the last 13 years and meeting a lot of Nomads and other
new friends - it's been great. I think TW has been the most consistent out of towner to attend these parties. Over the years we've had probably 30
different Nomads attend. Too bad more couldn't make them but that's life.
Now if another Nomad wants to continue, I have 9 smokers and lots of serving stuff to pass on to the next host. I guess that won't be you will it
bajarob.
But any Nomad that's in the San Felipe area is welcome to stop by - love to see you.

Hey Lou
Not like the 200 plus person Clam Fiestas that we did for 8 years. We will probably do something on a smaller scale in the future and you and Teina
will be invited.
