Cypress:

You make completely erronous statements concering people not catching Fish out of Mulege.
It is not very worthy of you to come on this board with False statements.

Why not ask Pompano? Why not got to Mulege, hang out at Jungle Jims for a couple of Hours in the late afternoon.
Go to Loreto, be at the Marina at 6 AM count the Boats going out then be there about 12 on and count the fish coming in.There is fish all over the Sea out of Mulege, Loreto, Santa Catlana!
If you think the Gill neters got them all, you are compelely off your
ROCKER!!!

Comon Cypress, start thinking and acting Positive.

You cannot make the world perfect for you Grandchildren by trying to "Control" everything that happens.

Don"t you see that in todays World??
I will make another bet!
that you have never gone to del elfonso Island got ashore and wondered why the nests and Eggs of the Birds get larger as you move up to the top.??

You must get at the truth, not someone else report in the Newspapers or College Books or the Internet??

Please see Bill Erharts report on Wahoo on the Fishing Thread.

The report of Wahoo is another sign to me that the fishing will be great for a couple of years before the low cycle comes back.

Come on come to Loreto and go Fishing!!!

Skeet I think maybe you should come back to the Baja and start a fishing school on how to catch fish.:light::light::light:

Thanks Comiton: I agree with you 100% but after that Triple Bypass last May and now they have found an Abormalility after the Nuke Stress test, I had better stay close up here. But oH! my Heart breaks for the Sea of Cortez!!

Cypress:

You need to lear the Sea from the stand point of the FISH, not those Crazy Young College Profs and Students who look at everything from a Scientfic Point.
It is just like the Global Warming Thing, people do not put in the Natural part of the Equation.

For Instance: Several years ago, none of the Meicano Fisherman had every caught a Whaoo North of Catalana Islan. Several years l;ater a a 38 Lb. der was caught off of Pt. Lobos.

It is the same with the Sharks in 1948 there were Landing strips built just for Planes carrying out Shark Livers. The amout of Sharks taken was unbeleivable. they went on decline, then came back and then Japanese fisherman hit them Hard, now they are back!

So you must apply Common Sense to the Sea, not just Strict Science applied by those without Passion!!!!

You must at times RISK YOUR ASS to find the Truth of the matter.

Skeet/Loreto, I spent some time in Mulege. False statements? Why would I lie? I'm not going back. Would much rather brag about all the fish I caught and plan future trips. Thinking positive? I was raised fishing offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. Many miles of water. Oil rigs. Wrecks. And everything in between. Used Loran before GPS was ever invented. Positive thinking is a requirement if you're going fishing. Have fished for fun, commercially, and govt. research. Don't need you or anyone else to tell me about fishing. Have walked thru bird nests on the beach; eggs and hatchlings back in the late 50's early 60's on the barrier islands. Have picked my way thru the contents of a shrimp net also. Know about bottom/reef fishing. Been there when the shrimpers were dumping their bycatch 30 miles out in the gulf, a regular feeding frenzy. Yea the birds will be there. Could go on and on.....

funny that you neo-luddites and anti-intelectuals dismiss scientists and their computer models and theories when the scientists reveal things that cramp your style,... but you neo-luddites sure do like your cardiologists and their computers and technology and theories when you are in need of diagnosis (educated guesses) and treatment so you can continue to live in style, and continue to grumble about those dang fisheries and global warming scientists that cramp your style

It is called "Survival of the Fittest"

The Higher the Nest, the Larger the Bird and the Eggs for the Higher position gives you a better look and break at the Food.

I have no problems with Science that has "Common Sense".
I beleive each one of us should be able to Excersie Our Own Freewill and Accord"". Not be forced into beleiving somthing that is Theory only, Like Global Warming"

There are many who have very weak Minds who Prey on those weaker ones for their own Selfish desires. Like the Sierra Club.{Money being the Goal}.

Go and Fish the Sea of Cortez/ The Fish are waiting in Bunches.
