Some vaccines that have stopped terrible diseases. Smallpox is eradicated, polio is virtually eliminated. The flu vaccine is one.

Hola Larry...don't want to spend more time on this, but...

Local Drs. say they have not seen the usual flu yet. CDC says 98% of the cases are H1N1. They stopped testing for it. I had the seasonal flu shot 1 1/2 months ago, still got this one. Daughter teaches 11 yr olds, and they are dropping like flies. So who knows for sure, but it is a rough one. I spent 6 trips in the High Sierra on pretty aduous back packs this summer, am in good shape, but for those with health problems it potentially could be serious. Yet again, to each his own. I feel sorry for the kids, and their parents who have to decide on a course of action.
