Then someone asked if we needed to use the ambulance Ed provides, after dining there. No, we did not. I feel badly about posting now, as I like Ed, and have had good meals there in the past.

DK: Here's to you mi amigo....Ed had Fox News on the TV and specifically Bill O'Reilly, so he can't be all bad huh? I could not even get that channel at the Baja Cactus.

Speaking of the wonderful Jardines: We stopped there the next day, on the way home around noon. Made the mistake of having hamburgers: I won't say any more except; don't have hamburgers at Jardines. Like having a steak in a seafood restaurant and vice versa. First bad meal there too, but it is just not their "cup-o'-tea". Maybe it was not our week to travel, who knows, but we beat the rain.

Maybe the connection runs deeper than we all know... we like Ed... and he watches Fox News...! I am sure he would feel real bad if he knew you got a bad tasting meal and would make it up to you!

We were at Ed's last on July 18 (this year), on our way south... we had a room reserved at Baja Cactus, but that part of town had no water... so we moved to the Turista Motel that night. We came over to Eds' (across the street) for a visit... and he made the best Tequila Sunrises, using fresh squeezed orange juice! When he realized it was our anniversary (1st), the drinks were on the house.

As for Baja Cactus... Years ago, I requested Fox News to be one of the channels beacause it was and still is the #1 most popular news network and gives both sides during news/opinion discussion... Let's just say that Antonio is much more liberal than I and maybe that's why he only has CNN on the line up...? Perhaps if more people than I ask for a fair and balanced news channel, it will be added? But heck, we go to Baja to GET AWAY from that mess... right?:light::lol:

Clarification

Just so it's very clear. Neither my friend nor I got sick, or even feeling bad from our meal(s) at Ed's. Never!

Update: CNN at Baja Cactus, in only in Espaņol....

I edited it to clarify, thanks!

CNN is espaņol only? Does it matter, as they don't say anything that makes any sense, anyway?!:lol::lol:

When we find Faux News playing in a public place like a restaurant, we will politely request that the channel be changed. If they choose not to do so, we take our business elsewhere. The same for the extreme right wing radio talkers.

Don't need to have our time ruined by listening to lies, hate and racism spewed out by very dangerous people.

Thanks for the warning---we will pass it on and we know we are not the only ones who will walk out.

Wow! How can anyone possibly recommend a hotel or a restaurant based upon what cable news channel is on the TV? Isn't it about the quality of the accommodations or food?

And come on DK, give it a rest. Fox News doesn't pay you and doesn't need you to shill for them? Murdoch has already virtually ruined journalism in this country after having done so in Australia and Europe.

We do the same thing when CNN is on for exactly the same reason!

Nice we have the choice isn't it?

Something I wondered about for a while just got clearer. If they don't speak English, you have a problem. Just goes to show ya not everyone has sense

Please don't forget to include Fred-O as you drag this out... as I was replying to him.

Unlike libs, we conservatives can laugh and have some fun with each other. All you seem to want to do is censure and shut down the voices of opposition. Too bad you feel that free speech is 'dangerous' and that you don't even know that there is no endorsed racism on the right, just the left... We are color-blind and don't believe in seperating and dividing people into micro groups for political puposes the way your side does,... shame, shame... To us all U.S. citizens are Americans, no matter what their race or background is. We know that people when free are great and do great things. That if allowed, government growing so powerful as they are trying to make it, is dangerous to freedom.

Now, what does TV in El Rosario have to do with American politics and why did you two steer it that way?

:light:

Have fun you loveable liberals, you!

no one reliable said fox is balanced :lol: dk said something like that but he is unbalanced (he has ample list to the right) and his opinios on news/politics are,... well, let's say they are debatable (or should we say they are cause of much chatter).

we all know that fox news is the communications arm of the GOP :lol:

It's funny how this went from medical services to restaurants to politics.

No it's not. Not funny at all. I, for one, tire of it.

I wonder what this board would be like if the author of a thread had the right to delete any posts within the thread? Probably be boring and we'd all have to actually get out and do something.

I agree. It's a downward spiral.

Even our climate has now become a red vs blue issue.
