Have a friend in Cabo with a little Caleb...hear he's a terror...maybe every one is always telling him "te banas"!
My sister was going to use "Lucas" for a boy, but she like me had only girls; Brisa (who's daddy worked on a sailboat), and Maya (for the Oaxacan
family).
Doesn't your boyfriend want you to use his name?
My husband, Antonio Adolfo, has Antonio Adolfo for his first son, the second is Ricardo Rafael after both of his grandfathers.

Nope, Adrian doesn't want to have two people with the same name. He's not much in to the whole traditional thing
We also like drake...means dragon and is the only name that all three of us (Adrian, mom and myself) agree on, which is kind of annoying!
We would like to keep it short and simple, something that isn't easy to have nasty nicknames for, something easy to say in both languages and
something that is not completely ordinary but not too far out there either.
Growing up being different, especially in a small town like this, is hard, and it's even harder if aside from looking different and having weird
parents, you have a name that's weird in your peers eyes as well. I love my name but back in school there were lots of jokes made at my expense and I
didn't appreciate it very much...

Tristan would have been Lola if he had been a boy Erin would have been Viggo had
she been a boy. I also like Bernadina, and the kids' middle names: Alicia and Xavier. The right name will come to you Drake is a good one, unusual, but simple and strong!

Excuse me...I resemble THAT remark!!!!
I never thought choosing a name would be soooo difficult! I didnt go through that because the moment Sirena was conceived, her papa said "ahorra
tenemos una sirenita" and the name stuck!!! and boy am I glad he came up with it so I didnt have to go through the whole choosing thing.
My suggestion was Kai..which means ocean...simple and beautiful...oh well...Drake is OK.

I like Kai...thought of Kaya for one of my girlies (old Bob Marley song), but went with the Serena.
I don't know if my daughter has a lot of indigenous girls in her 4th grade class, but the names sure make me think of the Mayans/ Aztecs... there is
an: Elisua, Mexline, Nashua, Siclalie (not sure of spelling, but these are phonetic). I've never heard any of these before, and I've come across a
lot of names in my 20 years of teaching! This is in San Diego, but all the girls are from Mexican families. Maybe a new trend? H.

Kai just doesn't stick with me...for a girl maybe but for a boy? eeeeh no ty.
And mamma I never said if it was good weird or bad weird. As I grew up I learned that being different and a little weird is good sometimes, and it's
because you are who you are that I am the person that I am today.
And Drake in spanish would be something like Dreik?
I told Adrian that if it was a boy and if he laughed or smiled when he was born we would hall him Isaac (the laughing one), which I also like but he's
still deciding on that one hehe!

whew...OK...good weird is not too bad I guess!!!
this is fun...thanks for all your suggestions...
I really LOVE Isaac...the laughing one....but if a newborn "smiles", it's probably gas...wonder if there is a name for one with gas?? yeah,
Drake...duck...hmmm
I'm all for Marisla...is sounds so lovely...rolls off the lengua and is soooo Asuncion...our life revolves around the sea and island... but Layla is
OK but I dont like the hard "A" sound EH!!! although is does have a canuck ring to it.

Wow! I love the guitar in the song!! Gave me shivers when it started! Great song!
@mom: You made me choke on my oatmeal cookie when you said that when a newborn smiles it's gas! Lol...
As for marisla I like it too, but I'm honestly feeling that the bundle inside the belly isn't going to be a girl (boohoo), which is why we're
stressing over boy names so much!
But I've been wrong before and I could be wrong again...I guess we'll see in the next few days!
And you are right about the drake and duck...hmmm well there goes that one hehe...
If it is a girl, Adrian is pretty set on Layla, which turns out means Dark beauty, or dark haired beauty, so if she comes out with Adrians dark hair I
guess it's fitting!!

Whatever name you come up will be beautiful.
Personally I will be calling the baby Honey button sugar sunshine pie, and I will learn that in Spanish too!

Ugh this is super hard!!
I like the triplets names but somehow I can't see myself naming the baby anything with W...it's kind of hard to pronounce in spanish...
But who knows, I'm sure the right name will come at the right time!

The good thing is you still have plenty of time to decide which name will be best for your little one. Can't wait to find out the sex myself, that
will make things far easier for you by eliminating half of the options...
