Sorry didn't see this.. think I was having another nap..

You must remember that I am at times a bit mysterious with my intent .... and one must always write for their audience...:lol:

No offense, Wiley, but when your posts get too "mysterious," I pass them by.

None taken.. really like the ability to just ramble along about topics and what ever comes to my mind while typing.. no real goal set .. rather just thoughts as they pop into my head.. think it adds to the development of better way to solve a problem.. like talking about the heat.. and working that into a discussion about small nuclear reactors producing power for folks that live down in BCS which do not have CFE suppling power.. for AC..

As for grammar and spelling,.. if Mrs. Martin my 8th grade teacher could not get me straight about the importance of spelling.. was up to 125,000 per word before she gave up... don't think it will do any good at this point in my life.. think most can get the over all drift of what I trying to get across... as I do with most others that post also.. Hell, with Skeeter.. he helped me post at all.. along with a few others that make mistakes.. oh, my

Think it has more to do with left brain, right brain thing.. as stated before..

And I do appreciate that you do pass them by ... as our back and forth would be an exercise in futility I'm afraid.. no offense intended either... some are synthesis personality others are not.. found that out in a meeting in La Jolla in around 1991.. when the Company I worked for and the Board of Directors of same asked a number of folks from Pepperdine to come down and observe and evaluate the entire Company's "thinking" or lack thereof.. which was at the time my position, lack thereof..

Was told I was a "synthesis personality" and many other have a very difficult time "understanding" what I say... as "synthesis personalities.. tend to want ALL things put on the table and discussed in a "free form" manner.. no structure.. let things fly around.. bounce a lot off the wall.. just go.. unstructured discussion ... you know ... not staying on topic..

They (the folks from Pepperdine) said if the Company really wanted change... they should listen to me.. as all the others were in lock step.. you know.. worrying about the small chit...

It was about a year later that I left this Company and found another position.. sadly it was the same again.. as my thinking does not fit into most of the "courts" which have chalk lines.. :):)

It is just me.. I don't find fault with those who don't understand.. what I may say or the concepts I may introduce.. as they are intended to create responses ... they are just words put together to cause a reaction .. but, sometimes just words can awaken a entire NEW thought... which is after all what we all need really bad about now.. new thoughts ... they can lead to solutions to problems.. and yes I know they can lead the other way... but that is evolution and it takes place daily.. here on this planet ...

I know I should run this through Word or something like that.. but, what the hell, it's not going to be published, it's not going to anyone inside a Company, or out side to a Company which would reflect negatively on same.. and I'm not actively working.. so let.. I ain't worrying about it...

Now that some, pass on my stuff.. who's perfect... have always stated that I always stick my foot in my mouth.. always have and always will.. thats just the way I am..

Hope it adds too.. rather than takes away anything we on this board and others discuss :):)

I just like the thoughts.. and the pictures

Hit the EDIT button upper right of the post you want to dump. Check the box next to DELETE THIS POST and send it. The post will vanish.
Keep in mind for the future...if someone has put your post in a quote box, you can't get rid of that.

I think Gunner may be related to Paco. He loves all - man or beast. But, treat him bad or threaten me and he lets his presence be known!
A well trained dog is a pleasure.

Appears to be a neat idea to have, do you have one? Or know of someone who does? The reviews seem to be pretty good also.Might just be the perfect solution for many of us.

I sure do miss our mini guard dog, she always let us know when someone was around and that did help me feel safer.

Nope, don't have one....yet, just found it tonight. Sounds like a good solution. Here is another one for real time monitoring/viewing:

Nice link:

"Specialists in Shakespeare's bawdy language are fond of noting that "nunnery" was common Elizabethan slang for "brothel," and that therefore Hamlet's command is ironic and even more despairing than it seems. The pun would accord with the paradoxical nature of the prince's speech, but there is little evidence elsewhere in the scene that Hamlet intends a double entendre."

Me at a nunnery??? Oy vey is mire! :(

Wiley, I don't believe I ever suggested changes to your spelling, use of caps, etc., nor did I comment about your "rambling," as you put it. All's I suggested was that you quote from the post to which you are replying.

But I confess that your post struck a familiar note: I dated a guy for a while who was VERY smart (among other good qualities) but who I think had A.D.D. He would start talking about one thing and, just when I was waiting to hear what happens next, he would digress to a totally different subject. He might digress this way 5 times in 5-10 minutes. It drove me nuts, as, being a linear thinker, plus being trained to communicate in a certain logical manner, I just wanted him to "get to the point!" (The relationship didn't last long.)

For the record, I often find good points and thoughts amid your posts, but sometimes I am just too lazy to look for them. :}

you know, I am an English teacher and for almost 30 years have been correcting st's writings ... but I must admit, I also like just writing nowadays without worrying about the caps and the rambling and so on

I have come to the conclusion as well that most apostrophes are downright unnecessary - everyone can understand when they see:
its a beautiful day. shes coming over tonight. theyre not here.

I ALSO LIKE THE MEXICAN WAY OF PUTTING EVERYTHING IN CAPS. I STILL REMEMBER WHEN I GOT LAZY ONE DAY AND WROTE IN CAPS AND A FRIEND GOT REALLY UPSET. WHY ARE YOU YELLING, I WAS ASKED....OOOOPS

@toneart = at first i thought it WAS your Paco !!
