Not to worry - if you look further into history and our relationship, you'll find Canadians involved in most major conflicts, just usually our role was as peace keepers. Our military regularly coordinates and trains with USA, Britain and others. The British Army trains in my back yard and the Canadian operation there has developed many anti - chemical weapon and unmanned solutions used around the world. . More recently, we have been in the Gulf, Bosnia and Afghanistan where our role has become more engaged in battle.

Wouldn't it be something if we could focus on peace so no one would ever need to fight again?

thanks astrobaja and fritzie and other well wishers....we also extend warm turkey leftovers (tofu or gobblers) to all our canuck amigos suffering up there and the lucky ones down here. I so wish some of us could gather for a nice thankful dinner some year.
I think we will be eating lobster tonight but maybe I'll pour some maple syrup over it.
We DO have so much to be thankful for...every day and this thanksgiving I am extra thankful for a long list I wont bore you with...thanks everyone for being great...now about those apples.....

Shari

Are you making stuffing and yams with the lobster tonight? I will open some good Baja and California wine as some mordita.

I will be heading home from work this afternoon to the wonderful aroma of a turkey roasting. We are also having perogies as an appetizer. The good thing about being married to a Canuck is 2 Thanksgiving a year!
