I guess I need to brush up....
...on how a gringo drug-runner-drunk-buggerer-of-an-ejido-owner's son, who appeared out of thin air or paddled in from I. Tiburon, walks.
But it might make a good Hollywood story pitch.....
Haven't ALL OF US acted a little different in Mexico? That's the reason we go there.
No reason to necesarily call out the federales......
Besides, this shipment has cost me enough already and it hasnt even crossed the border.

I actually didn't give it that much thought until I saw the photo enlarged. Usually the best/worst movies are true to life....

Keep us posted...
As someone who used to live in Mulege and enjoy this beach, please keep us posted!! Your encounter at this spot is unsettling because I can see in my
mind you driving down that path to the beach and encountering this guy. It would have shaken me and anyone in his state should not be around a child.
At a minimum, when is it ever acceptable to berate someone for coming to a beach. Lashing out at someone to the point of driving them away from the
area is something that can not be tolerated. I know the Mulege community would not want this behavior in their backyard even if he is out at a less
visited area....as written in another post, a guy with a kayak is mobile so what's next...I hope nothing else.
Anyway, please let us know of any further news. I love that place and my 4 year old has raced down its long shoreline. I support anyone's efforts to
ensure it is a place where we all feel welcomed and safe.

Today I will check it out.....
As I said to Sharksbaja a couple days ago, I will check this beach and area out today on my way to Sta. Rosalia from Coyote Bay.
If I am threatened (or propositioned...I'm kinda boylishly cute, y'know!) by a drunken, kid-hugger in a kayak I will let you know. And if so, rest
assured I will post a full frontal pic.
I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.

Sharks I agree the man is a real ass..... but I cant go to the police and turn him in for putting his arm around the little boy they will laugh me out
of town I hate child abusers moor than most people my daughter being a victim. but you have taken this act out of context and read in to it things
that may or may not be true. I hold my children like that every day . what we need to do is try to get moor info on this man. Maybe pompano will get
moor info or I will be going that way next Sunday.

As you can see by the tracks, beach driving between San Felipe and Puertecitos continues as a Baja tradition for over 50 years! Photo taken 2-26-05

Sure you can. A story like that, especially a gringo with his arm around a Mexican boy, will get their attention. Give it a try!

Went to Playa Sta. Inez today...this morning.
Nada...nobody there. I stopped at the little 'ranchito' or palapa named 'Kevin' and talked to the man there. He said the camping beach had been
pretty vacant for many days...only uno o dos personas recently. I did notice that there were 4 people there...all locals, no gringos. One adult
male, two teenage boys, and one adult woman...oh, and a cute little terrier-mix pooch. He was friendly as I asked if I could drive on down to the
area Sharksbaja descibed and take a look around. Nothing too strange in the atmosphere there.
I drove out onto the beach access from the improved dirt road, but didn't want to risk my heavy truck bogging down in the soft sand...even in 4X4, so
I walked up and down the beach for a few hundred yards either way to see what's what. Again, nothing there. Vacant except for lots of tire tracks
both directions. Pta. Chivato is an easy kayak paddle away and probably was the origin of your tenting kayaker, Sharks. Other than the palapa people
I saw not another living soul or campsite.
I unloaded a full banana clip of 100 rounds of 9mm dum-dums into the bushes just to make sure, though. JUST KIDDING!!
So...that's it, I guess. Nothing now at Playa Sta. Inez.
I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.

GOOD JOB POMPANO.... you did a nice thing to go and check it out, thank you! Well, I guess now that half the planet knows about the Kayak Kreep I will
rest easier. I know I would go nuts out there at Punta Chivato. Just the truck ride out there kills brain cells.
