What a for sh-t poll.
Mike, I've seen some pretty attacking posts from you as well.
I've even seen one or two that did nothing but start trouble.
I'd rather have more conversation of any sort. If all we did was talk stricktly about Baja, we would be Fred's board. Have you seen how few posts
there are on his board this time of year - not many !
Doug allows like-minded Bajafishianatos to have less related discussions for the sake of sharing information and passing the time until our next trips
south. Also a method for those in Baja to keep tabs and make contacts.
I'd rather have more spirited conversations than be forced to endure Fred style censorship. No offense to Fred, of course, but the difference in
boards allows us to go where we're most comfortable. I don't understand why the "Fred" types insist on trying to change this board to be like his.
JUST GO USE HIS BOARD AND LEAVE THIS ONE ALONE !!
Doug,
Thanks again for allowing us the freedom and privaledge of using your site.

I have considered having a party down there though, mebbe sometime in Oct. Nov.

I agree with most of what you have said here--I think! Would you please tell me where anyone called of censorship on 'this' thread.
I am totally with you in enjoying how Doug allows a large degree of lattitude here and for that we should be thankful.
What I don't understand is why a few of you guys feel that it is a duty passed down from on high to try to 'stir' things up every time someone tries
to get them cooled down so that we can all enjoy the knowledge that JR and others have to share.
Almost everytime he decides to mellow out just a little bit you guys hurry in to put that burr back under his saddle. He reacts and you howl with
laughter.

Mike Humfreville this seems like a kind of silly poll. It doesn't seem like something you would do. I really enjoy your stores.

Whoa now Bernie
according to the current ccg poll, 25% of the people enjoy when these "stirrers" get me going. So far!
I'm still trying to get new people to sign up and vote for "The Dark Side" so let's not go playing Florida already!
If nothing else, I have learned how these ccg's work. Did everyone receive my secret u2u's?

JR
You are your own man and I appreciate that. I just wonder why you feel so smug when only 25% of 'your guys' are voting for a position that you
apparently prefer.
They all love to push you out front and watch the fireworks--if nothing happens then they add fuel (fool) to the fire.
Come on my friend you are much smarter than that.
You said you would think about what I wrote last and I really hope you do because I value you as a friend.
Whoa! JR--are you suggesting that I am somehow connected rigged elections??? Even Hose A complained because he could only vote once. I didn't
complain but I fdid try to vote a second time (Damn it Doug--loosen up)
I would bet that not one poster, including the anon's, on this board would have a problem understanding how to vote in any election in the
world--much less than Flordia where some people seemed to have an IQ of just a touch above the dust you drive through to get to Sur.

Did you really expect ....
or actually believe what you are asking to be answered truthfully. Why? What will the results offer? Insight into how many of the "other guys" are
out there? Preposterous.
It's like asking everyone "how many people dislike JR" :lol"
Do you think they would reply honestly?
These polls are so silly because they draw a line in the sand.
See how some voted?
Swiss style...right down the middle

I would like to ask the original people
who took this poll if the original poll is the same as when they first took the poll.
It seems to have been changed to me, right down to the deletion of the "edited" note that goes along with changing posts.
Now I'm not particularly surprised as it's basically what I have been saying all along.
But, what kind of person would take a poll and then change the text/wording after people had started voting?

Did you hear what you just said? And if so, it's ok to start a poll and then "shorten it" or change it in any way whatsoever?
Sheesh, what on earth has happened to you people? Change the poll after it's begun? Starting to sound like an american election around here.
David, whatever! You personally proved my point about P-nche gringos in El Rosario, let alone the fact that again you are lieing about u2u'ing.

I'm certain that mellow Mike started this thread, not me.
I usually try not to start the mud flying but often feel the need to respond to some of the inane comments or simply to have some fun.
BTW, once upon a time I tried to get JR to be a nicer poster.
I hear he bathed repeatedly but it didn't change a thing !
Like I told many of my ex-girl friends, I am what I am and good luck making any major changes (bodywork excluded). Why can't we accept each other for
what we are ? Once we realize and accept that all humans are handicapped in one way or another (ourselves included), it's easier to accept one another
in general. We can always avoid those who's handicaps give us gas.
Nomad Handicaps:
I can't think like my wife
Sharks is from Oregon.....
Pompano is....... Pompano
Bruce has a sense of humor
Dk is....... helpful, true and clean ?
JR is full of bamboo (and beer)
MeNo is ...........gone ???
Hose has a mexican sounding name
Doug has almost 2000 children
Turtle has his Toad
BB is "normal"
Anonymouse(s) have jack-ars blood in their veins
No offense to those who were mentioned or not mentioned

For Bruce Leech
I have been gone most of today or I'd have answered you sooner.
With all the arguing that's been going on lately, I thought this poll would serve to show Doug and the rest of us that we really don't want all the
petty bickering that has been going on here.
Insted, all that happened is...more of the same. On top of that, either someone else can delete my posts at will or Doug is doing it on this very
thread for some reason. DOUG??? All I know is that I am sick to death of the few people who get everyone stirred up. I am equally sick of those of
us who add fuel to the fire.
My purpose in posting this poll is just what I've said.
I guess I was stupid enough to think we would take it seriously. Wrong again.

IT AIN'T THE QUANTITY!
It's the quality. We need more WIT. Better zingers and burns. Lately the diatribes have been on a 3rd grade level:
"I know you are, but what am I?""
"I'm rubber, you're glue."
"Fatty, fatty, boom-balatty!"
"nyaah, nyaah, nya-nya-nyaah."
Sheesh, grow up. At least watch some South Park. The kids there know how to insult each other on a much more mature level. But then, they're 4th
grade now.
All my childhood I wanted to be older. Now I\'m older and this chitn sucks.

Mike,
Yes, apparently you were "stupid enough to think anyone would take it seriously".
Where in your reality did you come up with the idea that this post could help anything ?? This is just more of the same that starts the threads you
say you don't like. I assume you are actually smart enough to know the difference and decided to post anyway, just to start some more of the same. And
you complain about JR ???
Sorry I forgot to mention your handicap
How about a poll to see if we should outlaw stupid polls ??
