whoops my newbieness shwing , I think the forum and all in it rose to excactly the response needed, and yes I posted it there cuz it appears to have
the most traffic (eyes) , I figured someone was moderating and had total faith in fellow men and women to keep an eye out and thats what happened ,
you probably don't need an emergency forum , thats what guns are for! ..........Thanks again all

Umm..m\hmmm...I am a "today's Post" type person and know that things can get lost so i vote an emergency forum to always be at the top...I like the
SSB radio nets that always start with any emergencies...then get to the other stuff...although I can see that there may be an issue with perceived
emergencies vs real ones however perhaps the moderator can judge those.

Hmmm.... any thoughts towards this subject that would create less work and/or responsibility in administering the board instead?

When there is an emergency post it in General Discussion and those who check in daily will be charged with bumping to the top until resolved.

I was thinking along the same lines as shari; moderator filtering and an Emergency a sticky at the top.
EGL and FDT, if I'm in an Emergency and can't check in with Nomads on a daily basis, then I'm trusting that the two of you will bump me, and then come
to my rescue.  I'll sleep easier in my jail cell somewhere knowing you guys are
keeping me on top until help arrives.

.....careful.
That could be a few........... and for awhile. Figure out when something should be pulled, if it's not resolved.
