And while everyone parties, please take a moment for those who would like to be here, but are not, like sunman said they paid the ultimate price for all of our freedom. Bless Them All.

Playing on boat. Just threw it in water for first time after lengthy restoration. It sleeps in Ensenada Cruiseport Marina.

My Uncle Died in Pearl Harbor

He was an Air Force Pilot.

This occurred long before I was born, but my mother told me that he visited her during her difficult pregnancy and told her not to give up.

Every time we visit Hawaii, I leave flowers on his grave - thanking him for his sacrifice and his love for his family.

Otherwise, Hetch Hetchy annual hike.
Awesome water in the park this year,
we were up last Monday and the falls were pounding.

Love to go to Baja, but we were there a few weeks back,
and need to get caught up at home.

I hadn't planed on going anywhere, But
Now that I think of it I might just take that same trip ,But leave ut the hike in Hetch Hetchy and do it in the Valley Then get out before the crowds drive me nuts.
Then again i might just stay home.

I completely agree. My Mother and I will be visiting my Father's burial plot at Riverside National Cemetery. Being a Korean War veteran, Dad earned a place there after passing away last month. I'll be leaving a small flag for my Father and helping console my Mother.

Ken---------very sorry to hear about your Dad's passing--------that is a tough thing to deal with. You are in my thoughts and prayers tonight, and hope all goes well for you and your Mom.
