I was seriously wondering about the photos posted here, as to how old they may be. Just seems that those young men have concerns about being identified and they and/or their families ending up as targets of the cartels.

If they lived anywhere near their duty post, that might be a concern. Normally they're stationed as far away from home as possible so they won't be tempted to desert.
