I was kind of hoping that DK would decline the hat only because that furry style is not compatible with San Diego's warm climate. He could always cover that insignia with a smiling sun button as found on his avatar.

Maybe ELINVESTI8 can do his photoshop magic and put DK's hat in order.

Packo, Igor was thanking me for giving HIM the Soviet hat. Yes, it is a bit warm for such head gear in San Diego!

Santiago, thanks for the business wishes... I actually got busy this past week with some good jobs! Well, enough to make a truck payment and maybe the rent!

I would really like to take the new truck to Baja for New Years... Maybe search for the Melchior Diaz grave?

David this of course is too hot to wear in Southern California and Baja, well unless you are going to San Pedro Martir National Park during the winter months.

If only everyone would try to walk a mile in each others shoes.

If I tried to make up a Nomads gift list, it would be exactly the same as Santiago's friend, only different.

BMG, I think it is said "Don't judge somebody until you have walked a mile in their shoes."

I think that's the perfect time. You'll be a mile away and you'll have their shoes.

Wahhhh! I still want the tinfoil hat. :( It would have to have a tall point to accommodate my head. Maybe it could say "Got Baja?" arching around the red star. ;)

Wearing it, I could wander both Baja's coastlines aimlessly and beachcomb Shell Beach barefoot, standing out suspiciously like a jobless, unambitious Communist, probably on Social Security and Medicare or some such government public option welfare. :o

The hat would be literally crackling with conspiratorial information received from alien spaceships unseen by all but the hippest pals of Maryjane. :wow::spingrin::yes::cool:

BMG for some reason I thought you drew stuff is all. That's the only reason I wrote what I did. You sound offended so if I offended you, I humbly apologize.

ELINVESTI.... You think like I do... I thought of the exact same thing... face down, spread your hands out, interlock your feet, DON't MOVE, etc.

Great Nomad gift list, whoever was the originator.

Don: circa 1969-70 I'd guess, probably far northern Colorado or maybe Montana but definitely not Wyoming. Wedding for sure. Cool hat and you clearly bought new shoes for the gig. Cheat sheet taped to the guitar is rookie though. Hope your wife dresses you nowadays.
