I wanted to vote for option 5 .......... but there was no option 5.

So I'll have to be a joiner with Dennis, Skipjack and rts551 !

So what's the tally; I'm afraid to look ?!

why don't you dk-fanbots register for DK's twitter feed?
dk seems the perfect type to broadcast his thoughts (sic) via tweets.
think about it, you could get tweets from dk while he is driving to baja, camping on shell beach, installing sprinklers, flossing his teeth, etc.

I didn't vote because I don't think any of the four adequately describes David K's contributions. David's own quote better represents his value here, except it is too modest. He IS an authority and expert based on his experience, his research and his contacts.

The only other issue I would take with David's own self-assessment is a qualified "but....."

Well, I voted but I had a hard time deciding which one to pick because as some have pointed out several seem to apply. Can I change my vote? Or maybe just vote twice for my new pick to offset the first one? These polls can be so difficult, one really needs to think things through and not just randomly pick one.....I'm going to have a.....nother glass of wine and vote again.:lol:......dt

This is a vote for David K.....whenever I have ever asked a question he has come to my aid without any smart or degrading comments and has in my opinion been extremely generous to fellow Nomads. I know that I have not been as frequent party on this board as others, so there may have been situations I have missed, but in general I want to thank David K for being a knowledgeable and trusted "Authority" on Baja and for helping me gain the knowledge I crave. The reason there are space between the potential answers is that a despicable old liberal didn't know that if you double spaced between the questions the program would create a "check box" with an empty line after it.

I'm sorry it was confusing. For those who vote in elections, I recommend that you not check any box that defies definition; like a box with total emptiness after it.

I say this with reservation because even though I can see the sky from my house, I am still no authority on empty space.

the unlabeled vote boxes are for people who feel that the correct answer lies between two endpoints.
you who like things to be simple B&W asnwers can choose of the four, us who are more comfortable with uncertainty and shades of grey can choose among seven options.

i am wondering what did DK vote?

can we have a vote on whether MrBillM is human or not?
